What is OTC trading? Over-the-Counter (OTC) or off-exchange trading is done directly between two parties via a broker-dealer without the supervision of a centralized or decentralized exchange. How does OTC trading benefit the XETA ecosystem? The OTC service benefits XETA community members by matching you in real-time with a buyer. This way, you’re not increasing the X3TA supply and decreasing the USDC supply when selling X3TA (which causes X3TA’s value to drop). Instead, you’re swapping peer-to-peer and protecting the open market price. Another benefit is that OTC trading allows the execution of large trades at a single price, making it both convenient and cost-effective.
Large trades on a DEX can cause a significant distortion in the asset’s price, resulting in slippage and affecting the price at which you purchase the asset.

How do I trade X3TA OTC? Below is a tutorial video and step-by-step guide on how to buy and sell X3TA Over-the-Counter using ThorFi’s OTC trading service. Important: Keep a small amount of $AVAX in your MetaMask wallet for the required Avalanche network transaction fees.

How to buy X3TA OTC
1. Go to https://www.xetacapital.com/ and select Launch App
2. Select Connect Wallet and authorize your MetaMask wallet
3. Select Buy & Sell $X3TA OTC on the left side of your Dashboard
4. 1) You will land on the Buy tab 2) Select from one of the Listings 3) In the box, enter the number of X3TA you want to buy 4) Select Approve USDC and authorize the transaction in your MetaMask wallet *There will be an Avalanche network fee, paid in $AVAX
5. Select Buy X3TA and authorize the transaction in your MetaMask wallet *There will be an Avalanche network fee, paid in $AVAX
How to sell X3TA OTC
Important notes for Sellers: • Sellers must sell a minimum of $100 worth of X3TA tokens. • The OTC system always updates your listings to the latest token price, so sellers don’t have to constantly re-list their tokens. • A 0.25% transaction fee (paid to ThorFi) is applied to the seller and is automatically deducted from their USDC upon selling their X3TA tokens.

4. Select the Sell tab

7. Refresh the page to see your order listed
Canceling your OTC sell order 1. Go to the Sell tab
2. Select the “X” on the right of your sell order, then authorize the transaction in your MetaMask wallet *There will be an Avalanche network fee, paid in $AVAX
